Alexander Research Consultants, LLC (ARC) is a social science research firm whose goal is to provide consultative and contracting services to businesses; community, civic, and faith-based organizations. Through our services, we hope to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in areas of social concern to promote the well-being of constituents in our society. Our services may include:
- Data gathering – We design surveys and questionnaires for gathering primary data. Data may also include demographics, such as age, race, gender, ethnicity, education, socioeconomic background, and/or religious identity. An in-depth consultation is necessary with your organization’s key personnel to determine what information you are seeking.
- Data analysis – Data analysis involves one of many processes by which we gain a better understanding of a social problem or social process. We allow the data to “speak” in order to learn new knowledge, support or refute existing knowledge, or advance what is already known.
- Report writing – Once data is gathered and analyzed, a report of the findings is in order. We are adept in scientific report writing and can provide quality research reports.
- Policy review – A review of policy helps to determine whether or not your organization’s policy is effective in guiding program or organizational outcome. A policy review examines goals and intended outcomes, provides guidelines in how constituents (i.e., customers, clients, patients, stakeholders, etc.) are treated, and helps to determine whether or not the intended outcomes were met. Policy review also helps to determine whether or not changes or enhancements are needed in a program, organizational process, or to the policy itself, and whether or not other prescriptive recommendations are needed.
