Advocacy for Women and Girls

Dr. Alexander has a special concern for issues affecting women and girls, especially those who are systemically marginalized and underrepresented.

She has worked in several homeless shelters – both in Washington, DC and in Atlanta, GA. Most recently, she served on the board of directors of the Decatur Cooperative Ministry of Decatur, Georgia – an anti-homelessness shelter and agency serving women and children. She also served as Board Chair for one year.

Families affected by foster care and adoption is also a concern. She served as chair of Fostering Hope Ministry for three years at the Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur, GA.

Advocacy for women and girls is currently under development. Please continue to check this space for additional updates. Or, let us know how we can sow into your organization, group or ministry.
